Connections was created to serve teens and adults ages 13 and up with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The purpose of Connections is to integrate individuals with I/DD within the community, teach independent living skills, and to create a support system for each member. (Arc Mid-Michigan membership required)
Our goal is that our members become immersed in the community. Outings include events such as fitness classes, going to the Arts Council for classes, bowling, healthy eating with MSU Extension, and much more!

The Arc of Mid-Michigan’s Summer Camp program is designed for teens and adults, ages 13 and up, with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
At camp, everyone will have fun while making new friends, building new skills, and growing their independence. Give your loved one an experience that will last a lifetime! This experience is built around the wonderful qualities of our members. It gives them the opportunity to focus on their various abilities rather than their disabilities. We accomplish this by showing our participants their potential. Our Summer Camp provides them with opportunities to influence their community and see the impact that they have made by becoming contributing citizens. (Arc Mid-Michigan membership required)
As a result, our community will also become more aware, accepting, and welcoming of those that have unique and different abilities, as well as learn to display, support, and accept leadership skills within themselves as well as their peers.
